During the “Spring Roundup,” Rocky Mount utilities customers are reminded that they can contribute to the Winter Assistance for Rocky Mount Program by rounding up their utility bills each month.

Under the Roundup program, a customer with a bill of $226.46 who participates in the program will have a new bill amount of $227. The difference of 54 cents is donated to the W.A.R.M. The W.A.R.M. Program assists low-income people 60 years of age or older, disabled people and customers laid off within the past 90 days with paying past due heating expenses.
