Elayne L.W. Roberts, director of human relations for Rocky Mount, graduated from the 2007-08 Municipal Administration Course of the School of Government at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

The course is about 150 hours in legnth, and more than 60 instructors participate in leading the program.

Roberts was one of 63 officials who graduated this year and one of more than 2,500 who have finished the course since 1954.
