CHARLOTTE – Jonathan Batts of Rocky Mount has been named to the winter term Dean's List at Johnson & Wales University.
Batts is pursuing an associate's degree in culinary arts.
To be named to the list, students must earn a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.4.
Johnson & Wales University is a nonprofit, private institution founded in 1914. It offers accredited degrees in business, hospitality, culinary arts, technology and education.
The university has campuses in Providence, R.I., North Miami, Fla., Denver and Charlotte.
