St. Mary's honors announced

Jessica Eatman, Lauren Worthy and Julie Bynum, of Rocky Mount have been named to the first semester honor roll at St. Mary's School in Raleigh. Eatman, an 11th grader, is the daughter of Carol Eatman and Dennis Eatman. Worthy, a senior, is the daughter of Cindy and Craig Worthy. Bynum, a senior, is the daughter of Dr. Linda Hawes and Dr. Rich Toomey and Dr. Will Bynum, all of Rocky Mount.

To be eligible for the honor roll, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in at least four academic courses while maintaining the status of a student in good standing with the faculty and Judicial Board.

Founded in 1842, St. Mary's School is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory, boarding and day school, for young women in grades 9-12.
