One day, at a farm very far away, there was a bunch of animals that made a lot of noise. They were all dirty so the farmer bathed them.
Later, the farmer built a plow and plowed the field.
Next, the farmer would count how many seeds he needed to sow on the field. The animals enjoy watching the farmer work.
A month later, the farmer was the first to the field and saw his crops growing. He was very happy and proud of his work.
He and his animals will have plenty of food to eat for the winter.
The Quilt
By Karrington Lovette, third grade, OLPH Catholic School
Once upon a time there was a man who got locked in a pyramid. He was trying to count some money that he found. He tried not to make noise and he found lots of fabric. He said, "I'll make a quilt first." He found some needles, but they were dirty so he cleaned them with a bunch of tissue. A month passed and he finished the quilt.
A king looked in the pyramid, let the man out and the king found the quilt. The king said it was the best quilt he had ever seen.
