Once upon a time, there was a wife and husband who were having a Halloween party. Five skeletons were coming. Mr. Bone put 5 bouncy eye balls, 10 knuckles, 15 ears, 20 toes and 25 tails with scales in a pot.
Later Mrs. Bone said, "Mmmmm the stew smells wonderful!"
The party started at 8:00 p.m. They drank boo juice. For dessert they ate boo cake. Then they did the Skeleton's Mash! They had a celebration for Mrs. Bone's birthday.
I love Ma-Ma
By Isabel Rommel
Rocky Mount Academy, 2nd grade
My ma-ma has really pretty blue eyes. She has a really nice job at home. It's babysitting a really cute baby named Preston.
She helps me solve my problems when I can't do them. When I go to meets and competitions in gymnastics and when I go to soccer games, she cheers for me and my team.
I love my ma-ma. She's the best.

Rocky Mount Prep School, 3rd grade
In the 1970s, emergency room doctors started seeing spider bites that they thought came from a poisonous spider known as the brown recluse.
Eventually, they discovered that the bites were from a spider they had not known was dangerous. It was the hobo spider.
Pizza Poem

Pizza is yummy!
Watch and you'll see pizzas being cooked.
Listen and you'll hear people chewing.
Sniff and you'll smell the pizza.
Touch and you'll feel stringy cheese.
Eat and you'll taste delicious pizza!
