Amy Kate Nipper was inducted into the Phi Psi Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the official communications studies honor society of the National Communication Association. Nipper is a member of the first chapter at Liberty University, where she is a senior majoring in graphic design with a minor in Journalism. Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement in communication studies.

Amy is the daughter of Don and Susan Nipper of Rocky Mount and the granddaughter of LaVerne Harper of Sharpsburg and the late Peggy Jennings Harper.
