I have been waiting to test drive the 2011 all new Chrysler 300 since January when I saw that great Eminem commercial during the Super Bowl.

Finally, I got one to review and I wasn’t disappointed.

I’m hard pressed to choose which part of the 300 I liked the most: the ride, the inside or the commercial.

The Ride

Don’t play the quiet game with the 300. You’ll lose.

As quiet as a mouse, the 300 is a touring car that offers a luxurious, quiet and smooth ride rivaling a Lexus.

Under the hood, the 300 models sport either a base 292-horsepower version of Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, or the 300C’s 363-pony 5.7-liter Hemi V8.

I test drove the 3.6-liter model and was pleased with the power propelling this tank of a car.

The Interior

The 300 has an interior that might make a buyer think twice about paying more for another badge.

It’s designed smartly with upscale materials.

I loved the waterfall-style dashboard that elegantly flowed into a nicely arranged center console with easy-to-use buttons.

The leather seats were plush and brought to mind long road trips I’d like to take.

THECommerical

The commercial that debuted during the 2011 Super Bowl was brilliant.

I loved the parallels between our down-but-not-out economy and the good-old-American car company, Chrysler. All set to a gritty, modern bass-pumping score by Eminem, a Detroit guy done good.

It was a masterpiece of a commercial and the actual car lives up to its marketing.

It’s priced right too. At $31,170, it should (rightfully) attract some buyers looking for an entry-level luxury car under $35,000.
