Standard Insurance & Realty adds new staff members

Standard Insurance & Realty is pleased to announce the addition of three new staff members: Duncan M. Gibson in Sales; Robin Devoti as Commercial Marketing director; and Priscilla Brown as Personal Lines account manager.

Duncan joined Standard Insurance in January of this year and will focus on building long term partnerships with new clients for both business and personal insurance. Duncan is the son of Stuart and Dee Gibson and is a native of Rocky Mount, NC. In 2004, he graduated from N.C. State University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in agricultural business. Following graduation, he went to work for Mikels & Jones Properties in Raleigh as a commercial real estate broker.

Duncan currently serves on the Raleigh Ducks Unlimited Committee and the Board of Directors for the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. He is an active volunteer for numerous non-profits. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing and golf. Duncan resides in Raleigh.

Robin joined Standard Insurance in October and specializes in finding the best insurance coverage and rates for business insurance clients. Robin began her career in Albany, N.Y., where she worked in underwriting and marketing for Amica Insurance, General Accident and United Community Insurance Company. She relocated to Raleigh in 1993 and continued her work in underwriting and product development for Highlands Insurance and Builders Mutual Insurance Companies. She has over 30 years experience, is a licensed agent in Property/Casualty and Life/Health and has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting degree (CPCU).

Robin lives in Zebulon and enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and pet dog.

Priscilla joined Standard Insurance in November as an account manager for personal lines clients. Priscilla has been licensed Property & Casualty Agent since 2003. She lives in Wilson and enjoys being outdoors.
