Leonard joins Ward Drug Co.

Julie Parrish Leonard of Louisburg has joined the pharmacy staff at Ward Drug Co.

Leonard has lived most of her life in Franklin County, attended Louisburg High School and is pursuing her bachelor’s in pharmacy at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

She worked 10 years with Eckerd Drug and Rite Aid Pharmacy, recently serving as district manager for Eastern North Carolina.

“I’m excited about working in Nashville and becoming involved in some of the varied and wonderful programs here at Ward Drug Co. such as women’s health and diabetes,” Leonard said. “I have a passionate desire to solve problems and serve patients with their individual health needs.”

Leonard is the daughter of Wayne and Glenda Parrish of Louisburg and the granddaughter of Bill and Violet Spencer and the late Jake and Rosa Parrish.

She has two children, Ashton, 7, and Amber, 3.
