The Hardee's at 600 Wesleyan Boulevard was one of eight franchises operated by Boddie-Noell Enterprises to earn a 2009 Restaurant Operations Excellence Award from Hardee’s Food Systems Inc. for stellar performance over the past year.
Boddie-Noell captured eight out of the 11 Operations Excellence awards this year bestowed by Hardee’s to franchise restaurants across the country.
“We’re extremely proud that Boddie-Noell received eight of the 11 Operational Awards given nationally because it demonstrates the hard work and pride taking place every day in these restaurants,” said Terry Lewis, vice president of operations for Boddie-Noell’s Hardee’s restaurants.
The Operations Excellence Award is based on an individual restaurant’s performance in quality assurance audits, operational assessments and the low number of guest complaints. Fewer than 1 percent of the more than 1,100 Hardee’s franchise restaurants nationally earned the award.
The other award-winning Boddie-Noell Hardee’s include restaurants in Kinston, Kannapolis, Gaston, Littleton, Waverly, Va., Paintsville, Ky., and Springfield, Ky.
“Hardee’s continued success is due in large part to the hard work and dedication of our franchisees,” said Michael Murphy, president and chief legal officer of CKE Restaurants Inc., the parent company of Hardee’s.
The awards were presented at the Hardee’s annual franchisee meeting in Las Vegas, Nev.
