Chick-fil-A has presented a local franchisees one of its highest awards.
The Symbol of Success Award presented to David Langston recognizes a restaurant operator for achieving aggressive sales goals over the previous year. It was presented at the chain’s annual meeting held Feb. 12-15 in Orlando, Fla.
The award includes the use for a year of a Ford model of Langston’s choice. Awardees who reach the sales goals for a second year are allowed to keep the car.
“Our restaurant franchisees are Chick-fil-A’s very own symbols of success,” Dan T. Cathy, the chain’s president and chief operating officer, is quoted as saying in a release. “Their persistent commitment to excellence in customer service and ability to provide unmatched product quality to each customer on every visit is what shapes and maintains our brand.”
Langston owns the Chick-fil-A at Golden East Crossing mall.
