Tonya Blalock has been named one of the top producing sales agents for 2011 for Century 21 The Combs Co.

The honor recently was presented at the brokerage’s annual awards breakfast.

“The home buyers and sellers of Rocky Mount truly have a real estate resource they can trust in Tonya Blalock,” brokerage owner David Combs said. “Tonya really understands that, for many people, buying or selling a home is the most significant purchase of a lifetime.”

Blalock also has received multiple Sales Agent of the Month Awards in 2011 from the company. She also has earned the real estate chain’s Masters Award, twice at its ruby level and three times at its emerald level.

Blalock has more than 26 years experience, including 17 years with Century 21.

She holds a real estate broker’s license and the Graduate Realtors Institute and Accredited Buyers Representative professional designations.

She also is a past board member of the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce and has been an active organizer of fundraisers for Nash Health Care and the chamber.

She and her husband, Cam Blalock, have two children and two grandchildren.
