Edward Jones again has ranked second in Registered Rep. magazine’s annual survey of the nation’s six largest financial services firms.

The magazine randomly selects financial advisers nationwide and asks them to rank their firms in various categories. Edward Jones’ overall score was 9.1 out of 10 points and 0.2 points behind the highest-ranking firm, Raymond James & Associates. The overall average for all firms in the survey was 7.6.

Edward Jones’ highest scores were 9.6 for ethics, 9.2 for clarity of client account statements, 9.4 for client access to online account information and 9.5 for the high quality of the firm’s branch office administrators.
