CONCORD – Action Health Staffing was presented the Star Award by the Association for Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina for outstanding work and creativity in the world of advocacy.

The presentation was made at the association’s Oct. 24 luncheon in Concord. Kim Hill, Action’s president and CEO, and Sheri Batchelor, is vice president of nursing, accepted the honor.

Action was recognized for patient service. The 265-member audience also gave the company a standing ovation for Action’s advocacy efforts and caring and compassionate service.
