The financial firm Edward Jones recently was ranked No. 1 on the “Best Places to Work in North Carolina” List by Fortune.

The magazine ranked companies based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of employees. The survey included dozens of questions about the firm and employees’ individual experience there.

This is the second time Edward Jones has ranked No. 1 on the list.

The company has 470 branches statewide. Its Twin Counties advisers include Don Adkins, C.B. Bunting III, Nikki Clark, Sherlon L Page, Cathy G. Porter and Rocky Speight in Rocky Mount; Kevin L DeBruhl in the Battleboro community; Cliff Joyner and Chet Osterhoudt in Nashville; and Jennifer Chavis-Purnell in Tarboro.
