Romney makes inroads with Santorum voters

Republican Mitt Romney won all three GOP primaries Tuesday night – taking the majority of the delegates in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Romney won at least 74 delegates in the three contests and 21 more delebates will be allocated later. Still, that pushes Romney's delegate total to 646. A candidate needs 1,144 to win the nomination; Rick Santorum has 272 delegates, Newt Gingrich 135 and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul 51.

Even more telling, Romney outperformed Santorum among conservates and moderates. Romney also took a higher percentage of evangelicals and those who earn less than than $100,000 a year in Tuesday's elections than those in the past. Some pundits said that shows the Republican Party is starting to fall in line behind the presumed frontrunner.

Part of the reason Romney did so well was that Santorum spent little money in Maryland, he wasn't on the ballot in Washington, D.C., and spent the rest of his time in the rural areas of Wisconsin. Still, Santorum has not quit the race yet. In fact, he says things are only halfway done. Take a look at the video below to hear more from Santorum.
