First South Bank promotes Robbins

First South Bank announced the promotion of Thomas C. Robbins IV to senior vice president.

Robbins serves as the director of information technology. His responsibilities include the management and operations of the banks computing, network and telecommunications infrastructure.

Robbins maintains an office at First South Bank's operations facility, located at 220 Creekside Drive in Washington. He joined First South Bank in 2005 with more than 20 years of information technology experience. He attended East Carolina University and studied computer science and rehabilitation studies.

Robbins is originally from Rocky Mount and resides in Washington, N.C.

First South Bank has been serving the residents of Eastern North Carolina since 1902 and offers a variety of financial products and services, including a leasing company and securities brokerage services through an affiliation with a broker/dealer. The bank operates through its main office headquartered in Washington and has 31 branch offices and three loan production offices, located throughout central, northeastern, southeastern and Eastern North Carolina.
