Consolidated Diesel Co. in Whitakers has added several new employees.
They are Marsha Cuddington, materials manager; Stephane Williams, deputy plant manager; Ronald D. Ellis, human resources director; and Neil Grehlinger, director of quality.
Cuddington, has 28 years of materials and management experience, primarily in electronics and automotive industries. A native of Wayne County originally, she has worked with GE/Ericsson in Lynchburg, Va., JDS Uniphase in Horsham, Pa., and Tenneco in Smithville, Tenn.
Cuddington received her bachelor's degree from St. Leo College in Florida and MBA from Central Michigan University. She has certifications in CPIM and CIRM with American Production and Inventory Control Society. Cuddington and her husband, Warren, have two children.
Williams enhances the CDC team with 13 years of high-volume/custom manufacturing, engineering and maintenance experience.
A graduate of A&T State University, Williams has held leadership positions with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Fayetteville; Hospira Inc. (formally Abbott) in Ashland, Ohio; Delphi Automotive Systems, Moraine, Ohio; and Burlington Industries. Williams is a member of the Society of National Association of Industrial Technology Manufacturing Engineering.
An Indiana native, Ellis adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to the CDC leadership team. He has worked as a development engineer and has experience in operations, organizational development, compensation administration, strategic planning, training and development, safety, employee relations and incentives. He is Green Belt Six Sigma Certified.
A graduate of Oakland City University in Indiana, Williams has held positions with Siemens Diesel Systems Technology, and Indianapolis Casting Corporation. He and his wife, Sheila, will be relocating to Rocky Mount from Columbia, S.C.
Grehlinger has joined CDC as the new director of quality, focusing on internal quality and processes and new product introductions.
He has worked with Hyundai Manufacturing and General Motors Powertrain Group.
Grehlinger brings a wealth of extensive quality experience to his role at Consolidated Diesel Co. He has a bachelor of science degree from State University of New York and an M.S. degree from General Motors Institute. He and his family will be relocating to the Rocky Mount area.
