WAXHAW — A 16-month-old toddler has been run over by her father in the driveway on their home outside Charlotte.

The N.C. Highway Patrol says the girl was killed late Saturday morning at the home in Waxhaw.

Authorities say 29-year-old Ryan Keziah was backing out of the driveway and somehow ran over his daughter.

The girl was flown to a Charlotte hospital where she died.

No charges have been filed.
