TIMBERLAKE — Authorities said a Person County couple is missing.
Officials said 84-year-old Leola Lowe was last seen Saturday driving on state Highway 49 from her home in Timberlake to a restaurant in Roxboro with her 83-year-old husband Donnie. The couple appears to have never made it to eat.
The Lowes were in a white 2005 Hyundai Elantra with North Carolina license plate XSA 7327.
Authorities said both have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
