North Carolina couple killed in Arizona accident

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — A North Carolina couple visiting the Phoenix area for the holidays were killed in a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in Glendale.

Glendale police identified the victims of the Sunday afternoon accident as 71-year-old Robert Kelly and 70-year-old Nelda Kelly, both from Hampstead.

They were passengers in a car driven by a relative, who was released from a hospital after treatment for her injuries.
