DURHAM — Police in Durham are investigating the city's first homicide of 2013.
Investigators said 33-year-old Kinta Newman was shot around 3 a.m. Tuesday. His friends brought him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking for a dark-colored Cadillac that was seen in the area around the time Newman was killed.
A motive for the slaying has not been released.
