Greensboro police seek suspect in fatal shootings

GREENSBORO — Police in Greensboro say a lone gunman is responsible for a Labor Day shooting that left two people dead and two others wounded.

Multiple area media outlets report that a man shot four people on Monday in the parking lot of a townhome complex on the west side of the city. Authorities say two of the men died Monday night.

The other two shooting victims are hospitalized with injuries that police said are non-life threatening.

Police are investigating whether the shooting was gang-related.

Capt. Mike Richey said police are looking into the possibility that the shootings were gang-related. So far, the search for the suspect is continuing,
