Fla. murder suspect arrested in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Police say they have arrested a man wanted in two killings in Orlando, Florida, at a home in Charlotte.

Authorities said in a news release that investigators found 32-year-old David Junior Lopez's car in Charlotte Friday night and tracked him to a nearby home several hours later.

He was taken into custody without incident and is at the Mecklenburg County jail awaiting extradition proceedings.

Lopez and a second man are charged with first-degree murder in the killings that happened in Orlando on Tuesday, A third person was wounded.
