HIGH POINT — Authorities say the body of a High Point teenager who had been missing for two months has been found in a local lake, and they're ruling his death as a homicide.

The family reported 18-year-old Dorien Jackson missing on Jan. 13, three days after he had left their home after getting a phone call from a friend about midnight.

Jackson said he was going to the friend's house, which is about 10 minutes away. He left on his brother's dirt bike.

Police say Jackson's body was removed from Lake Townsend on Sunday afternoon after three fishermen found the teen's body. It's not known how he died.

Greensboro police and the Guilford County Sheriff's Office are investigating the case.
