LUMBERTON — The body of a man found in a ditch in North Carolina has been identified as that of a Florida man.

The Robeson County sheriff's office says the body found late last week is that of 31-year-old Ernst Rajkumar, of North Miami.

Maj. Howard Branch said N.C. Department of Transportation workers found the body Friday afternoon.

Branch said investigators don't think the body had been in the ditch long.

The death has been classified as a homicide. No arrests have been made.
