Tarboro Market to open in April

It’s springtime, which means it’s a great time to discover fresh produce grown by local area farmers.

This season, check out unique local, handmade, homegrown, and vintage products and more at the Tarboro Market.

Starting on April 6, you can find the Tarboro Market under the portico at Tarboro Brewing Company at 526 N. Main St. in Tarboro from 8 a.m. to noon every first and third Saturday through the end of October.

This season, you’ll find fabulous food and more at the market. Vintage goods, homemade baked goods and handmade soaps will all be on hand at the first market. And you’ll feel better knowing they’re from local farmers and artisans.

The Tarboro Market is not only a great place to purchase local produce and goods, it is also a fun place to enjoy the day with family and friends. This year, to celebrate Opening Day, the Tarboro Market will be raffling off a goody bag filled with items donated by local vendors. To receive a free raffle ticket, you just have to show up to the first market. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased for $1. The winner of the raffle will be announced by the end of the market.
