The Nash County Sheriff’s office will be hosting two community events in the next few days.

The second annual Hot Dogs and Kids event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at 3721 Main St. in Sharpsburg. The event will be visible from the intersection of Hathaway Boulevard and Mill Branch Road, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office.

“Come and hang out with us, support this event geared for kids and have a once in a lifetime opportunity to sample the Tri-County’s best chili and tastiest hot dogs,” the statement said.

A new event, Coffee and Conversation with Sheriff Keith Stone, will be held on Wednesday. The event will be at the Corner Coffee Café at 201 West Washington St. Members of the public are invited to attend.
