Four of the five escaped fugitives from the Nash County Detention Center were captured late Monday night and early Tuesday. Authorities remain on the lookout for the last fugitive.

David Viverette and Raheem D. Horne were captured in Rocky Mount late Monday, the Nash County Sheriff’s Office reported on its Facebook page. Keonte Daeman Murphy and David Anthony Ruffin were apprehended early Tuesday and have been returned to custody.

The Sheriff’s Office and Twin County Crime Stoppers are offering a $1,500 reward for any information that leads to the capture of Laquaris Rashad Battle, 22, a black man 6 foot 6 inches tall weighing 155 pounds.

The men broke out of the Nash County Detention Center about 4 p.m. Monday. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Battle should call 252-459-1510 or Twin County Crime Stoppers at 252-977-1111.
