Police charge two in shooting

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting of a teen Saturday night.

The shooting took place about 8:40 p.m. Saturday night in the parking lot of a shopping center on the 1100 block of North Fairview Road. The victim was a 16-year-old male who was reportedly shot in the leg.

Rocky Mount police have not identified the suspects who were arrested but plan to release more information about the suspects and the incident on Monday.

The condition of the teen is unknown.
