Police search for robbery suspect

 A 40-year-old woman was robbed at knife point when she opened her place of business Tuesday morning.

Rocky Mount police Cpl. Brad Summerlin said the incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday as the victim was opening the office of Holden Temporaries on the 3200 block of Zebulon Road. A man reportedly followed her into the office, wielded a knife and demanded cash from her. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The woman was not injured in the incident, Summerlin said.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a black man about 6-feet tall in his mid-40s. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a camouflage jacket, camouflage pants, a cap and gloves.
