The Rocky Mount Police Department is investigating another shooting into an occupied vehicle that occurred about 6:51 p.m. Sunday.

While police were responding to a shots fired call in connection with the incident, they received another related call that a vehicle had been struck by bullets. Police arrived at 701 Oberry St. to discover that bullets from a handgun had damaged a 2017 Hyundai Elantra with two men, ages 28 and 32, inside. However, Cpl. Mike Lewis of the Rocky Mount police said no one was wounded in the attack.

Police are seeking two black male suspects who were clad in black clothing at the time of the attack. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
