Police seek two suspects in commercial break-in

A local business was broken into early Tuesday morning, and Rocky Mount police are looking for two suspects in connection to the crime.
Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering at 3:45 a.m. at a business on the 300 block of North Fairview Road. Officers investigating the scene said one of the business’ windows sustained $1,000 damage in the case and items worth almost $1,900 were taken. They included a 48-inch Insignia flat-screen television worth $974.61 and a 42-inch Sony Vaio flat-screen television worth $896.61.
Two suspects wanted in connection to the break-in and theft were caught on surveillance video. One of the suspects was described as a black man standing approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall, with a slim build and wearing light colored clothing. The second suspect was described as a black man approximately 20 to 30 years old, standing 6-feet tall with a heavy build, wearing dark colored clothing. Pictures and footage of the suspects were not available.
