Mike Super will be working his magic for fans of the seemingly impossible when he brings his hit show to the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts.
The family-friendly show at 7:30 p.m. Friday is promised to be a roller-coaster ride of laughter, intrigue, danger, fear, wonder, anticipation, tears and sentimentality.
Super — yes, that is his real last name — is one of the most sought-after mystifiers in the world today. He gained national exposure as the winner of NBC’s “Phenomenon.” He was also a finalist on America’s Got Talent.
He has been named Entertainer of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine as well as Best Male Entertainer, Best Performing Artist and Best Novelty Entertainer of the Year. He has also received two Merlin Awards from the International Society of Magicians, considered the “Oscar” in his field.
Super performed at Madison Square Garden in July and was honored to be selected for a military tour that included performing for Gold Star families and four-star generals. He has wowed audiences at Fort Knox, the Bob Hope Theatre, Walt Disney World, Brigham Young University, East Carolina University and celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno, Kenny Chesney, Regis Philbin, Kim Kardashian and others.
Tickets for the show are $15. Seats are still available by calling 252-985-5197 or visiting www.dunncenter.com. Parking at the Dunn Center is free.
