MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Yennsy Diaz tossed a two-hit shutout and Brock Lundquist had three hits and two RBI, as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats topped the Reading Fightin Phils 4-0 in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday.

Diaz (3-3) struck out two and walked four to pick up the win.

In the bottom of the first, New Hampshire grabbed the lead on a double by Lundquist that scored Patrick Kivlehan. The Fisher Cats then added two runs in the second and a run in the fifth. In the second, Christian Williams and Vinny Capra hit RBI doubles, while Lundquist hit an RBI single in the fifth.

Adonis Medina (0-2) went 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs and six hits in the Eastern League game. He also struck out four and walked one.

The Fightin Phils were held off the scoreboard for the third time this season, while the Fisher Cats’ staff recorded their second shutout of the year.
