GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Pinch hitter Edwin Yon hit a two-run single in the seventh inning, leading the Greeneville Reds to a 9-5 win over the Elizabethton Twins on Sunday.

The single by Yon came in the midst of a nine-run inning and gave the Reds a 3-2 lead. Later in the inning, Greeneville scored on four more plays, including a three-run home run by Rylan Thomas.

In the top of the ninth, Elizabethton cut into the deficit on a home run by Colton Burns that scored Chris Williams and Alex Robles.

Eduardo Salazar (1-0) got the win in relief while J.T. Perez (0-1) took the loss in the Appalachian League game.

For the Twins, Williams tripled and singled, scoring two runs.

With the win, Greeneville improved to 3-1 against Elizabethton this season.
