LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Nick Pratto had three hits and two RBI, and Daniel Lynch allowed just three hits over five innings as the Lexington Legends defeated the Kannapolis Intimidators 8-4 in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday.
Lynch (4-0) allowed one run while striking out seven to pick up the win.
Kannapolis cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second after Craig Dedelow scored on a ground out.
Lexington answered in the bottom of the frame, scoring five runs to extend its lead. The Legends sent 10 men to the plate as MJ Melendez hit a two-run triple en route to the six-run lead.
The Legends tacked on another run in the fourth when Melendez hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Pratto.
Drew Harrington (7-6) went 1 2/3 innings, allowing seven runs and eight hits in the South Atlantic League game. He also struck out one and walked one.
Tyler Frost homered and singled, driving in four runs for the Intimidators. Dedelow doubled twice, scoring two runs.
The Legends swept both games of the doubleheader after winning the first game 8-2. With the win, Lexington improved to 5-1 against Kannapolis this season.
