WINSTON-SALEM -- Joel Booker hit a walk-off single with one out in the 10th inning, as the Winston-Salem Dash defeated the Carolina Mudcats 6-5 on Saturday.

Yeyson Yrizarri scored the game-winning run after he reached base on a forceout and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt.

The Dash tied the game 5-5 in the bottom of the eighth when Yermin Mercedes hit a solo home run as part of a five-run inning.

Reliever Kyle Kubat (1-0) went two scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out four and walking one to get the win. Chase Williams (1-1) went 1 2/3 innings, allowing one run and one hit in the Carolina League game. He also struck out one and walked three.

Luis Alexander Basabe homered and singled, driving home two runs in the win. Booker homered and singled, driving in two runs.

In the losing effort, the Mudcats recorded a season-high six extra base hits. Carlos Belonis homered twice, driving home four runs and scoring a couple for the Mudcats. Tucker Neuhaus doubled three times.
