Letter to the Editor: Left's hateful agenda benefits no one

Friday, September 20, 2019

N.C. Sen. and pastor Paul Lowe, D-Forsyth, was caught on camera by a far left reporter. Upon noticing the reporter filming the lawmakers with a phone in a public building, Lowe makes a B-line right for him, asks him what he’s doing with his phone, then proceeds to snatch the phone and throw a Hail Mary (any very long forward pass made in desperation). A long week of political battles had this senator frustrated and he lacked self-control, which is a real problem in our society.

The left is so caught up in their hateful agenda that they have lost all sense of humanity and self-control. Boston mother Maureen Maloney was booed while testifying about the death of her son, who was killed in 2011 by a drunk-driving illegal with a criminal history.

The Dems don’t want ICE agents to enforce the laws that are on the books. Mr. Homan, who has served in law enforcement 34 years, told Alexandria Ocasio-Crotez before a congressional meeting last week if she did not like what the border officers were doing she needed to do her job and legislate. Hats off to Mr. Homan! Yep, you are right, his mike was cut off.

According to Carla L. Provost, chief of the U.S. Border Patrol, Border Patrol agents have encountered and arrested 933 criminal gang members January through August 2019, some smuggling, some being smuggled, some sneaking in and some already here — 445 were members of the MS13 gang.

Remember what our president said, speaking to gangs? “We will find you, we will arrest you, we will jail you, we will throw you the hell out of the country.” While I don’t appreciate his profanity, I am proud of his policies that benefit all Americans.

According to a guest on The Ingraham Angle, Trump’s policies have not made all of our cities great, and he is correct.

The Census Bureau Data on 2018 shows the poverty rate was 11.8 percent, a 20-year low; 1.4 million fewer living in poverty; 2.3 million more full-time year-round workers; median earnings were $40,247.

What about the cities that are not so great?

The five cities with the highest poverty rate: Detroit, Phoenix, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago, all run by Democrats. The five cities with highest crime rate: Detroit, Memphis, Oakland, St. Louis and Birmingham, all run by Democrats.

Do you see a pattern?
