Letter to the Editor: No inherent sin in being a white male

The Democrat/progressive/socialist candidate combine has championed yet another landmark proposal in their odyssey to rid the world of the abominable Trump and regain preemptive control of this country they hate so much.

Some now propose that we abolish the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and decriminalize border crossings so that all the poverty-stricken folks and drug dealers in the Western Hemisphere can come here at will and turn this once beautiful country into a huge hobo encampment similar to the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and now Austin, Texas, where human waste and drug needles litter the streets and plague may be eminent.

It seems they will only be satisfied when my beloved homeland has descended into the third-world beggars’ paradise they apparently crave. I suppose, however, that if you detest everything good about a thing, your primary undertaking becomes the absolute destruction of all that good and the replacement of that with whatever will ensure that malignancy will reign. That is where they have evolved in their socialistic dystopian philosophy and it is very sad; and now they all want to be president.

These folks are so delusional that they actually think that a sheriff who complies with a federal detainer request and turns over an illegal alien to ICE is somehow in violation of the dictates of a moral society and must be racist. Actually, they claim that any negative result that is experienced by a minority of any sort is without any doubt certainly the result of racism and must be addressed loudly as that, even without a hint of empirical evidence.

They would have you believe that this country is awash in racism when no such thing is true, but they have convinced a large segment of the populace who would rather believe that than accept any personal responsibility for their lives. They would also strive to convince you that anything positive that happens to a white person, especially a white male, is a direct result of some sort of mythical “white privilege” and has nothing to do with whether that person truly is deserving. It all seems rather idiotic.

As for me, I do not believe it is a sin to be a white male, and I do not believe you are automatically systemically weak and not responsible for yourself if you are African-American or Hispanic, but that’s just me.
