Letter to the Editor: Don't stereotype the Left

Why is the "right" stereotyping the "left?"
Recently, two individuals wrote a letter to the editor that voiced their concerns about the "left" embracing an ISIS sympathizer. First of all, it is not the "left," it is one congresswoman from New York. How dare you "assume" (and, we all know what "assume" means) that all supporters of the "left" embrace an ISIS sympathizer just because a congresswoman — Alexander Ocasio-Cortez — has spoken out in support of her.
I would hope citizens/voters are smarter than what you two give them credit for. You assume all supporters on the "left" — state, local and national — are supporting this ISIS sympathizer coming back to the United States. That is not the case at all, and to imply that it is, is just plain ludicrous.
I, for one, do not support Ocasio-Cortez in this endeavor and a majority on the "left" do not. So stop with the shenanigans and trying to brainwash voters and citizens into thinking that because one person has an agenda, we all have the same agenda. We do not!
Don't equate the good work that millions of us on the "left" do with one decision by a congresswoman from New York.
