Letter to the Editor: God, not man, affects climate

Aaron Brown looked at the official NASA global temperature data and noticed something surprising.

From February 2016 to February 2018, "global average temperatures dropped by 0.56 degrees Celsius." That, he notes, is the biggest two-year drop in the past century.

In Genesis 2:6 we are told a mist came up from the ground to water the earth. God told Noah He was going to flood the earth and commanded Noah to build an ark and Noah did. Noah did not build it because it made sense to him but because of his faith in God. Noah preached to the people about the coming flood and you can imagine how the unrepentant faithless people responded.

The flood floated the ark and saved Noah, his family and the animals inside, while that same water killed the faithless people along with all the living land creatures that were not in the ark.

After the flood subsided, Noah offered a burnt offering sacrifice to God. Genesis 8:20

Genesis 8:21 — And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. 22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease."

If only the alarmist would read their Bibles and have faith in their creator they would know man is not in control of the weather.

I am not making this up, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who has been rightly accused of anti-semitism, has now been labeled by Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi as ignorant because of her skin color. Pelosi has deemed Omar a moron/idiot and has told us not to believe her when she speaks about Israel, Jewish people and those who support Israel.

Therefore the House had to pass a resolution that says we are not to hate people. If they would just read their Bibles they would know that is already a commandment by our creator.

Matthew 22:37 — "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
