Hebrews 11:6 — And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Faith is having a persuasion, moral conviction (of religious truth), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:

Impossible means unable, to weak.

Please means to gratify entirely, satisfy.

Draw near to God, meaning to search out, investigate, crave, demand, worship.

Must means necessary.

Believe means to have faith in, to entrust (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ):

Exists means that something or someone is.

Seek God meaning to search out, investigate, crave, demand, worship.

What can we learn from Hebrews 11:6?

1. One is unable to satisfy God without faith.

2. Faith in Salvation through Christ/the system of religious truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is necessary to please/satisfy God.

3. In order to draw near to God it is necessary to believe (meaning to have faith) that God is/exist.

Is there evidence that God exist?

Romans 1:19 — For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

4. God rewards those who respect Him enough to seek out His ways, investigate His teachings, crave His ways, and demands of him/herself to strive to please/satisfy God and worship Him.

Recorded in Acts chapter 2 is the first Gospel message preached after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. People were convinced/had faith, that Christ Jesus was the One that provided salvation/forgiveness of sins.

We can see the fellowship (vv. 42-47) of those who had: believed in Jesus Christ, repented/turned away from evil/turned to please God and were baptized into Christ to wash away their sins (Acts 22:16).

I encourage everyone to read, study, meditate on, believe and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ recorded in Acts chapter 2.

Anyone who responds to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strives to please God will be rewarded (Heb. 11:6).

Who does not want to be rewarded with eternal blessings?

This world we live in needs people who are living their lives and worshiping God in a way that pleases Him.
