Thieves steal four cases of beer from Sheetz

Talk about a beer run: Someone walked out of a Rocky Mount Sheetz without paying for four cases of Bud Light.

The lager heist occurred at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 5 at the Sheetz store on North Old Carriage Road across from Nash Community College.

The four 24-packs — which are just shy of 99 cans of beer — are valued at $60.

The hopslifting case is under investigation by the Rocky Mount Police Department.
