Police investigate late-night shooting

Rocky Mount police are investigating a late-night shooting in which an unknown shooter fired into an occupied vehicle.

Police are withholding the name of the victim in the aggravated assault that occurred around 3:20 a.m. Nov. 25 on the 800 block of North Wesleyan Boulevard.

The attack caused $7,000 in damage to a 2011 Ford Fusion, according to police reports.

Anyone with information about any crime in the area is asked to contact Twin County Crime Stoppers at 252-977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
