Faith Christian School Senior Isaac Martin recently was named a finalist in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

He was chosen on the basis of his SAT scores, grades, essays and letters of recommendation.

Last September, Martin was named a semifinalist in the competition for scoring in the top one percent of all juniors completing the PSAT in October 2017.

“We are so proud of Isaac for being named a National Merit Finalist. This is an incredible accomplishment and we wish him the best in the ongoing competition. We also look forward to all the Lord has in store in Isaac’s future academic endeavors,” Head of School Erik Harris said.

Martin is now competing for National Merit Scholarships that will be announced this spring. The program awards three types of scholarships: National Merit $2500 Scholarships, Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarships, and College-Sponsored Merit Scholarships.
