Imperial Centre to host opening reception

The Imperial Centre for Arts and Sciences will hold an opening reception for a pair of exhibits Sunday.

Hear from Luster Realism and Hyper-realism exhibit artists and Mary Ann Prack, who will have a pre-reception gallery talk at 1 p.m. followed by music from Nashville resident Valerie Wood at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Also included will be announcements of Salmagundi art awards and a tour of the sculptures at the Imperial Centre.

All exhibits will be open during reception hours.

The Luster exhibit features classic cars and motorcycles in art form as well as live motorcycles from Rock City Powersports.

Prack's work, "The Shape of Color," is currently on display. The exhibit features contemporary, vibrant clay-based sculptures by Prack, who often focuses on the human form.
