The city is hosting an open house for the Atlantic-Arlington corridor study.

The workshop will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Tri-Faith Ministries at 140 Goldleaf St.

The study will provide the city with land use recommendations as well as an action plan to improve the safety, appearance and function of the corridor, said Tameka Kenan-Norman, the city's chief communications and marketing officer.

The corridor currently runs from Grand Avenue to East Raleigh Boulevard.
