Public input sought on funding priorities

Rocky Mount city officials are seeking community input at three hearings in the next week.
In an effort to identify expenditure priorities, Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership funding, the city of Rocky Mount and the Down East HOME Consortium will hold three public input hearings. These hearings will help identify the most immediate priorities for the next fiscal year.
The hearings will be 5:30 p.m. Monday in the City Council Chamber at the Frederick E. Turnage Municipal Building in Rocky Mount; 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Edgecombe County Commissioners Room at the County Administration Building in Tarboro; and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Nash County Commissioners Room at the Claude Mayo Jr. Administrative Building in Nashville.
